Online Conference organised by
MEUSAC and the Malta Council for Science and Technology
Date: September 25, 2020
Time: 10:00 – 12:00
Participation: Zoom online platform
The end of the largest research framework programme the EU has ever launched (Horizon 2020), presents an opportune moment for a discussion on the challenges and opportunities related to the R&I landscape for both the European Union and Malta.
The discussion will be held virtually on September 25, 2020 by MEUSAC and the Malta Council for Science and Technology.
The aim of the conference would be to understand the key challenges for Malta but most importantly, the opportunities found in the EU R&I landscape which Malta can better exploit. Opportunities can be found in understanding best practices which other EU Member States are implementing in their R&I strategies. Moreover, recent development, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, provides fresh challenges yet opportunities to the research community.
A panel discussion will be looking into the EU’s R&I agenda, Malta’s contribution, best-practice examples of R&I in EU Member States and the contribution of society at large to R&I. Click here for the online discussion’s agenda.
