The Ministry for Home Affairs and National Security (MHAS) and MEUSAC will be holding an information session for target shooting club representatives.
The meeting will be focusing exclusively on the Target Shooter Licence A Special (TSLAS) and directly related matters, which means that it is only of interest to the representatives of those clubs whose members practise target shooting with centre-fire semi-automatic firearms that have been re-classified under Schedule I in the latest legislative amendments.
An MHAS representative will be delivering a presentation on the implementation of the provisions of the Arms Licensing Regulations listed hereunder, informing club representatives of club-related commitments and relevant timeframes:
- Article 21A (6) of the Arms Licensing Regulations (SL 480.02); and,
- Article 21A (7) of the Arms Licensing Regulations (SL 480.02).
Information will also be provided in relation to licence holders’ obligations as set out in the relevant legislation.
You are kindly requested to nominate a maximum of two club representatives to attend this information session, by sending an email to email@example.com.
The session will take place on Friday, August 30 at 10am at the Valletta LEAP Centre, 72, Melita Street, Valletta.
