MEUSAC, in conjunction with the Ministry for the Environment, Sustainable Development and Climate Change (MESDC), organised a consultation session on the Sustainable Development Vision for 2050.
The aim of this consultation session was to discuss the aspirations and priorities for mainstreaming sustainable development up till the year 2050. The Vision itself answers the question of why there is a need to think about the future today. It seeks to better prepare stakeholders to face the challenges of the modern world in order to achieve common objectives.
This consultation session targeted the Social Cohesion and Well-being sectors, and was open to Government officials, academia, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders working in the sectors. It was held on Monday, October 15, 2018 at the Valletta LEAP Centre.
