Brexit: Be Prepared campaign launched

The Maltese Government has launched an information campaign themed ‘Brexit: Be Prepared’ aimed at creating awareness on the Government’s preparedness and contingency plans for businesses, public entities and Maltese and British citizens in the run-up to the UK’s exit from the EU.

Minister for European Affairs and Equality, Edward Zammit Lewis said that “we need to be prepared for every eventuality and that the level of preparedness increased during the last weeks by means of an inter-ministerial exercise that covers all aspects the government has control over in terms of Brexit – a process being led by the Coordination Department of the EU within the Ministry”.

The preparations and plans cover many aspects, including travel, trade, Erasmus+ programmes which are underway, pet passport regulations, and much more.
