30 years of Erasmus+

June 13 marked the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus programme, a European Union funding programme that has given nine million people the chance to study, train, volunteer or gain professional experience abroad.

To mark the occasion, the European Commission launched a new Erasmus+ mobile application designed with the intent of making young people’s Erasmus+ experience easier.

The application will, among other things, allow participants to easily track their progress in the different administrative steps before, during and after their stay abroad; share tips to help others integrate into the local community and improve their language skills via a direct link to the Erasmus+ Online Linguistic Support platform.

The first version of the app is already available for both iOS and Android. New features and constant updates will soon extend it to other groups of Erasmus+ participants and will ensure that the app covers the future needs of the Erasmus+ generation.

In its role as an entity providing support on EU programmes and funding, MEUSAC has assisted a number of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) in their application for Erasmus+ projects as well as other funding programmes.
