European Study students from University visit MEUSAC

10 May 2017

A number of European Study students visited MEUSAC where they were given an in-depth explanation of MEUSAC’s triple role and what the EU funding process entails where applications are concerned. The students are in their second year and are following Cohesion Policy.

MEUSAC plays a vital role in assisting NGOs, local council and Government entities to tap into EU funding opportunities. In a nutshell, Cohesion policy is the policy behind the hundreds of thousands of projects all over Europe that receive funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Cohesion Fund.

Mandy Falzon, Head, EU Funding within MEUSAC, explained that applicants should at least have an idea about funding and certain structures before attempting to apply for funds.
