Information Session

6 September 2017

MEUSAC is a government organisation aimed at providing information and consultation on EU policy and legislation and assistance with EU funding. As one of its services, it provides local councils and NGOs with technical assistance to develop and prepare project proposals, including the filling in of the application form.

MEUSAC is organising an information session for open calls under the Rights, Equality and Citizenship, and Justice Programmes.

The session will start with an introduction on common principles of the programmes and continue in small workshops focusing on the separate calls. Furthermore, this session will also enable those present to network, discuss ideas and potentially form partnerships to apply for such funds.

The workshops will be divided as follows:

Workshop 1:
• Prevent and combat racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance
• Support national or transnational projects on non-discrimination and Roma integration

Workshop 2:
• Ensure the highest level of protection of privacy and personal data

Workshop 3:
• Prevent and combat gender-based violence and violence against children
• Action grants to support transnational projects to enhance the rights of persons suspected or accused of crime and the rights of victims of crime

Workshop 4:
• Action grants to support transnational projects on judicial training covering civil law, criminal law or fundamental rights
• Action grants to support transnational projects to promote judicial cooperation in civil and criminal matters

Those interested are kindly requested to register here, by no later than Friday, September 1, 2017.
