Consultation Session: Promoting common values, inclusive education, and the European dimension of teaching

19 April 2018

MEUSAC organised a consultation session on the draft Council recommendations on promoting common values, inclusive education, and the European dimension of teaching.

David Degabriele from the Ministry for Education and Employment gave a thorough explanation of what the recommendations entail and that it is expected that four pillars will be endorsed soon during a meeting set to take place in Brussels next month. The pillars include the promotion of common values, the provision of inclusive education, and support for educational staff and teaching.

The promotion of common values will be primarily based on the Paris Declaration of which Malta is a signatory.
